Who I am…

Born and raised in Mundelein, Illinois, I've called Guadalajara, Mexico, my home since 2006. My journey into education stems from a deep love of learning—a passion that blossomed over time. While I wasn't always the top student, embracing learning at my own pace taught me the value of personal growth and exploration.

Boardsports have been a significant part of my life since childhood. While I enjoyed team sports, it was the freedom to progress independently in skateboarding and other boardsports that truly captivated me. This lifelong passion is a driving force behind FloatGDL.

Community and service are close to my heart. Inspired by my mother's dedication to giving back, I spent many holidays volunteering at local churches and soup kitchens. These experiences taught me the importance of connecting with people and contributing positively to the community. At FloatGDL, I aim to build a supportive and engaged community of riders.

My father instilled in me a sense of passion and commitment. His enthusiasm for NASCAR, Harley Davidsons, physics, and more showed me the power of fully engaging with one's interests. I bring that same enthusiasm to FloatGDL—whether teaching new riders or exploring the vibrant streets of Guadalajara.

Growing up in a supportive family and community shaped the values I hold dear today: family, caring for others, creativity, learning, and adventure. These values are the foundation of FloatGDL, and I look forward to sharing them with you as we continue to grow and explore together.
